Bear Bottom

The house is simply magnificent. Our group of 5 couples had plenty of space to gather or find solitude. Game room was fun and the views were unbeatable. The first morning of our stay we were treated to see a Momma Bear and her 3 cubs climbing the trees and feeding on the chestnut tree on the side of the house, was a real treat. Kitchen was perfect for gathering while preparing and cooking meals. Grill outside is a flat top and was also great for grilling out our kabobs. Beds and pillows were super comfy and the on-suite baths were luxurious with great water pressure and plenty of hot water for our large group. Highly recommend and would return.

House was amazing not only a beautiful home but very clean..Amazed at the quality and quantity of products provided…Loved the Dr Vranjes hair products and hand soap in every bathroom Totally enjoyed home with my family Thanks

This is a very nice high end property. It was exceptionally clean and well stocked. Everything worked perfectly. There are 10 or 11 large screen televisions, all with every streaming service we could want. Two refrigerators, two dishwashers. King beds in every bedroom. Beds were comfortable and supportive. Good pillows. Hot tub looked well maintained and was clean…we did partake! Game room has everything you could ask for except ping pong. There is a video console with 20 or so options ie. Galaga, Space Invaders….Never had to call the host during our 6 night stay…everything was perfect. Would definitely return to this home.

Staying at Bear Bottom was absolutely fantastic. The home was beautifully maintained and perfect for our group of three families — everyone of all ages had plenty of space to relax and enjoy themselves. Zero complaints. The game room was a huge hit, and the kitchen was so well‑equipped it made cooking for a big group genuinely enjoyable. The views were incredible, and seeing the Dollywood fireworks from the deck was an extra bonus that made our evenings even more special. It was also really cool to spot the occasional bear wandering through the neighborhood — a true Smoky Mountains experience. The location couldn’t be better, with easy access to either side of Gatlinburg. We loved every minute of our stay and would go back in a heartbeat.
